Without a doubt, good advertising drives business. Not only for individual companies, but for the economy as a whole. In this article, we’re sharing some blinded growth charts for clients that had limited advertising, or poorly executed advertising, prior to partnering with mostlyHUMAN. The growth trends are obvious.
Then we’ll share how the collective U.S. advertising industry drives the U.S. GDP as a whole.
First, some wins. Six different trend charts shown from six different client companies. The “work starts” are labeled, showing when each transformed campaign launched. Sound strategy and execution drive significant business growth across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Restaurant, and CPG in these examples.

In addition to working well for individual companies and brands, advertising in the U.S. is a major economic growth driver. Studies on its macro impacts are published from time to time. Here is a good, recent example from the ANA. Advertising drives 19% of the U.S. economy. 19%!
16% comes from sales growth thanks to advertising (like the charts above). The remainder comes from the livelihoods supported thanks to advertising.
Advertising works – when done well. Advertising matters.
